Our Story

EventSmith Productions began as a passion project, officially established in 2009 by founder Jessica Smith-Williams. It all started with a college friend’s wedding on 08/08/08, which sparked a love for capturing one of life’s most joyous moments. After graduating from the University of Houston - Clear Lake, Jessica was asked to shoot another friend’s wedding… and then another… and before she knew it, what began as a hobby became a full-time career.

Since those early days, EventSmith Productions has grown into one of the top wedding photography and cinematography companies in the Houston-Galveston area. We’ve had the honor of capturing over a thousand weddings, always with the same commitment to telling each couple’s story in a way that feels authentic and timeless.

Our team has expanded to include talented photographers, cinematographers, and editors, all with a shared passion for delivering high-quality images and films that truly capture the essence of your day. We specialize in weddings and special events, but no matter the occasion, our goal is to create a personal connection with every client. You may come to us as a client, but you’ll leave as a friend.
